000 happy people dancing around on a green field in the hot desert. Happy
people dressed up like crocodiles, bunnies, American Indians or just "over-the-top" fashionistas. Everyone is enjoying
the concerts and the art; everyone is smiling and having an awesome festival.
That´s Coachella!
Officially
the festival is called ”The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival”, and it´s
located in Indio, California. It´s in the desert, and surely we
inhaled several kilos of sand as the weekend passed. Under the burning desert sun,
we got to enjoy bands as Haim, MSMR, The Knife, Outkast, The Head and the Heart, Fatboy Slim, MUSE, Queens of the Stone Age, Beck, Daughter, Arcade Fire,
Calvin Harris, James Vincent McMorrow, MGMT (and the lists just continues…).
Apart from
music acts, the festival ground is filled with colorful art, palm trees, local
food vendors, beer gardens and a huge astronaut. So if you love music, happy
people, good food and the festival feeling - Coachella is definitely the place
to visit J
