The main
reason for stopping in California on our way around the world was the Coachella
music festival in Palm Springs. We had about a week to spend on the Californian coast before heading into the desert and the festival, and our rental car was waiting for us at LAX airport.
I´ve always
wanted to go road tripping in the States, and this week was such a teaser. I´d
really want to bring some friends and camping gear, and hire a car to cruise
the roads of the USA (oh, yes, always planning the next trip!). This time we
got to visit Los Angeles, the OC & Laguna Beach and San Diego. The latter
was a fantastic city, with a long beach, surfing and kite surfing,
skateboarding, burgers and chill - a perfect combination for some good fun. And
not to forget, a huge outlet close to the Mexican border, great for spending to
many dollars…
